Located at the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China, this project incorporates historic themes to tell the story of an ancient walled army outpost and it's role in history to stop the invasion of China by the Mongolian army to the north. This destination combines immersive live entertainment with museum quality interpretation, and historical preservation.

Intended to become the new national gateway to the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China, Chadoa Marketplace combines a modern Retail, Dining, and Entertainment destination with the fascinating story of the Great Wall of China and the commerce that surrounded it for centuries.

This multi-dimensional theme park tells the story of the World of Aviation- from exploration and adventure to technology and commerce.

Cordova Center is a major resource based multi-agency cooperative center and regional destination, providing environmental learning while enhancing the quality of life for both visitors and residents. The project will include a 35,000 SF visitors center, a 500 seat performance amphitheater, rural cabins, and a network of trails and paths. This multi-purpose visitor and interpretive center combined people, nature, and arts, with immersive exhibits to tell the story of uplands soil migration and the impact of soil erosion on recreational opportunities at Red Rock Lake and Dam.

 Site assessment, interpretive planning, historical preservation, cultural resource planning, traffic engineering, public meeting facilitation, master planning, architectural design, interpretive planning, and landscape design. Using organized work sessions termed “charrettes,” we engaged the public to establish overall goals, explore alternatives, initiate discussion, and reach consent on different approaches to the park. The final masterplan represented the best use for all areas of the park based on an experiential analysis of recreational opportunities and the historic development of the park beginning with the Civilian Conservation Corps thru modern day preservation.

Master planning, concept development, schematic design, and design development. The 158 acre project combines themed retail, dining, entertainment (RD&E) venues, visitor center, museums, performance center (amphitheater), and hotels into a premier destination at the base of one of the most sacred sites in China.

The project consists of an aerial tram from the Juneau waterfront to a plateau at the 1,800 ft. level on Mt. Roberts.  The lower terminal has ticketing, lobby, and loading areas along with extensive improvements to the Columbia Building site. An expanded sea walk around the terminal enhances access to Juneau’s waterfront. Parking for 60 vehicles, loading and unloading for up to 6 motor coaches and designated areas for vendor sales resulted through a series of planning sessions with users, CBJ committees, and CDD staff.  The project also includes a visitor’s center, restaurant, amphitheater, retail stores, and interpretive exhibits as part of the upper terminal.  

This project adds 35,000 GSF including new entry with plaza, gallery space, planatarium, administrative space, multi-purpose areas, and gift shop while improving circulation and meeting current AAM standards for exhibitions.

Auk Recreation Area includes a large day use area on the shores of Auk Bay. The project includes shelters, picnic tables, drinking water, fire rings and trails consistent with the original CCC design intent and USFS standards. 

Master planning, architectural design services for the development of this new LEED Platinum signature multi-story twin office complex with a combined total 288,000 SF. Awarded AIA Merit Award for Unbuilt Design.

Masterplanning, programming, architecture, and interior design for this new $150 million, 5-star luxury resort to be located in the exclusive development of Mina Al Arab, UAE. The 400,000+ SF Hotel incorporates many regional stories throughout the design using West Indies British Colonial architecture to establish a world class luxury experience on the shores of the Arabian sea.

Master planning, concept development, schematic design, and design development for this retail, dining and entertainment destination as well as surrounding sites where visitors can explore the Unesco protected World Heritage site.  Here visitors will walk along ancient pathways to Tongzhu Pass and continue on to the Fortress Site passing through 9 gates along the way. Work included inventory of existing interpretation, recommendations for improvements, and preliminary design of alternate pathways to improve circulation on peak days so that every visitor can explore and learn about Hailongtun Fortress and it's important role in China's history.

The Barrier Island Center is a focal point for the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge and the associated barrier island by providing exhibit space, a presentation hall, a small research library and ongoing educational programs that promote stewardship of the area’s fragile natural resources. The Barrier Island Center hosts visiting school groups from throughout Brevard County, as well as local residents and tourists.
